Bronze patinates. That is the point of it: within a month the case picks up a dull brown-green film that you either love or polish off with a lemon.

Inside is a Seiko VK63 mecha-quartz - quartz timekeeping with a mechanical chronograph module, so the seconds hand snaps back the way a mechanical chrono does, without the mechanical price.
